How to compare insurance quotes
A lower number is only useful when you know what it buys.
The quick answer
Compare quotes using the same limits, deductibles, insured property and effective date. Then review exclusions and endorsements. The premium is one part of the decision, alongside the protection and responsibilities in each policy.
Start with matching information
Use the same driver, property or business details for every quote. Differences in occupancy, mileage, payroll or operations can change both price and eligibility.
Put coverage next to price
Compare each major limit and deductible. Look for differences in replacement cost, actual cash value, exclusions and optional coverages. Ask what you would pay yourself after a covered claim.
Ask about the full cost
Review the premium, payment plan and any carrier fees or taxes. CoverTrust does not add an additional broker fee.
Confirm before you switch
A quote is not proof of coverage. Confirm the new policy and effective date before cancelling an existing policy.
