01 / THE FIRST CONVERSATION

Quotes, costs and next steps.

How do I get a quote from CoverTrust?

Choose the type of coverage you need and send a short quote request, or speak with Daniel Kazberuk. He can confirm the details needed to compare available options and explain the next steps.

Do you charge additional broker fees?

CoverTrust does not add an additional broker fee. Insurance premiums, carrier charges and any applicable taxes or required policy fees are separate and will be explained with your quote.

How quickly can I get covered?

We focus on prompt quote handling and moving complete applications to the carrier quickly. Quote and approval timing depends on the insurer, coverage, information provided and any underwriting review. Coverage is effective only when confirmed by the insurer or an authorized representative.

Which areas do you serve?

We welcome quote inquiries from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Carrier and product availability depends on the location, risk and applicable licensing.

Can you compare my current insurance?

Yes. Your current declarations page is a helpful starting point. Daniel can discuss limits, deductibles and exclusions with you so you can compare more than the premium alone.

02 / LIFE OUTSIDE WORK

Your home, belongings and vehicles.

Can I bundle my auto and home insurance?

Some insurers offer multi-policy options. We can compare a bundle with separate policies; the best fit depends on the available pricing and coverage.

Is flood covered by homeowners insurance?

Standard homeowners policies generally exclude flood damage. Ask about a separate flood policy and how its coverage and deductibles work.

Does my landlord’s insurance cover my belongings?

A landlord’s building policy generally does not insure a tenant’s personal belongings. A renters policy is designed for the tenant’s own property and liability needs.

Why does the master policy matter?

It helps identify what the association insures and what you are responsible for. The broker can use it to help spot gaps when discussing your own policy.

Can I use homeowners insurance for a rental property?

A standard owner-occupied policy may not fit a rental. Disclose how the property is used so the broker can discuss an appropriate landlord or commercial property option.

Can I buy flood insurance outside a high-risk area?

Flood insurance may be available outside designated high-risk areas. A property’s location and the insurer’s eligibility rules affect the options; a low-risk designation does not mean no flood risk.

Does umbrella insurance cover everything?

No. Umbrella policies have exclusions and conditions, and usually require specified underlying insurance. Review the policy’s scope with the broker.

Can I use a collector policy for a daily driver?

Many collector policies restrict regular commuting or daily use. Tell the broker exactly how you use the vehicle so the proposed coverage fits.

Is jewelry fully covered by my home policy?

Not necessarily. Home policies may have special limits or exclusions for valuable items. Compare those terms with a scheduled or standalone option.

03 / THE BUSINESS YOU’RE BUILDING

Your operations, team and equipment.

Does a BOP include every business coverage?

No. Commercial auto, workers’ compensation and professional liability often require separate coverage. We can discuss which policies fit your operation.

Does general liability cover professional mistakes?

Professional errors or omissions may require professional liability insurance. General liability is not a substitute for every type of business liability coverage.

Will personal auto cover my business driving?

Some business uses are restricted or excluded by personal auto policies. Explain deliveries, equipment transport and other work-related driving before relying on a personal policy.

How many vehicles count as a fleet?

The threshold varies by insurer and program. Share the number and type of vehicles you operate so Daniel can check the applicable options.

Can payroll changes affect the premium?

Yes. Policies commonly use estimated payroll and may be audited. Accurate records and timely updates help explain the final premium.

Explore workers’ compensation
Is a certificate the same as an insurance policy?

No. A certificate summarizes certain coverage information. Actual coverage and additional-insured status depend on the policy and applicable endorsements.

Does business property insurance follow my tools?

Off-premises coverage may be limited. Ask the broker to compare your property policy with an inland marine option for the tools and equipment you move.

Is business interruption automatically covered?

It depends on the policy. Business income coverage has specific triggers, limits and conditions that should be reviewed alongside property coverage.

Why does a retroactive date matter?

On a claims-made policy, the retroactive date can affect whether prior services are eligible for coverage. Avoid gaps when changing or renewing policies.
